THE Creston debating team has been very busy preparing for next week’s South Coast team selection for the upcoming provincials in Pietermaritzburg at the end of June (at the beginning of school holidays). Creston debater Steyn Fourie has already been selected for the team.
During the course of last week, Amanzimtoti senior girls travelled to Creston to play hockey and netball. This was an entertaining fixture with close contests in most of the games. Last Saturday, the Creston College 1st XV rugby side took on the local development rugby side and Creston won this encounter 33-5.
Last Friday, Creston College held its 2016 admission open day for pre-primary and gr 1. The turnout was encouraging and Creston can look forward to a really good enrolment next year.
