Mixed results for Sheppie High

Caitlyn Schlehmeyer was placed second out of 72 runners.

PORT Shepstone High’s first netball team won 32-30 against Gelofte High last week, the second team drew 11-11 and the U16A team won 13-3.

At the league four cross-country held at Thomas More last week, the girls’ U15 team was placed third out of 22 teams. Caitlyn Schlehmeyer was placed second out of 72 runners, Kathleen Goodhead was placed sixth and Nicolette Schlehmeyer was placed 22nd. In the boys’ U19 category, Njabulo Cele was placed third out of 58 runners.

At the sports fixtures against Hillcrest High, the PSHS first rugby team won 27-26 and the second team won 24-14. The Sheppie High first netball team lost 28-29, the second team won 24-12 and the U16A team won 20-10. The girls’ hockey team drew 0-0 and the second team won 2-1.
