Creston enjoys a busy sporting weekend

THE last weekend of May turned out to be a very busy time for Creston College.

Junior Primary pupils and coaches travelled to Port Edward for the winter sports festival at Port Edward Primary. This was a really good sporting occasion, with Port Edward providing a well-organised morning of sport.

The best performing Creston Junior Primary side was the gr 3 hockey girls, who were unbeaten in all their matches.

Kokstad College and Kuswag visited Creston College last Saturday to play girls’ hockey and netball. The games that took place were closely contested and it was good to see the good sportsmanship displayed by all teams.

The Creston College first XI girls won both their matches, beating Kuswag 3–1 and Kokstad College 1-0.
