IZOTSHA Primary’s Eco-Club enjoyed a fishing afternoon excursion at Date Farm’s dam situated across the road from the school. Although no fish were caught, a good time was had by all.
Gr 7 pupils attended a ‘Movie Club’ where life skills were discussed through a review of the movie. Thank you to Richard Harrel and the Genesis team for providing this meaningful yet fun-filled opportunity.
Senior boys’ hockey was played against Creston College and the U13A boys won 3-1. Richard Bormann scored one goal and Fynn Weber scored two.
The U13B team won 4-0 with Gary Massey scoring two goals, Zaiden de Heer one and Chad Laycock one. The U13A hockey girls played an evenly matched game against Port Edward to finish with a 0-0 draw.
Gr 7 exams begin this Thursday. Hopefully pupils have prepared thoroughly for these exams. The school is very proud of gr 2 teacher Mignon Klusener for completing her fourth Comrades Marathon.
