Jubilee celebrations kick off at Marburg Primary

Past pupils are requested to contact the school with submissions that could be included in the commemorative brochure.

MARBURG Primary will be celebrating the school’s silver jubilee (25 years) with a number of activities being planned throughout the year to mark this momentous occasion. The school has identified a desperate need for stadium seating at sports events and have undertaken this project as a priority.

Construction has commenced on the bank overlooking the main sports ground and will go a long way towards alleviating the congestion and discipline challenges experienced in the past. Because of financial constraints, the project will be completed in stages and the first stage includes the construction of two rows of seating.

Past pupils are requested to contact the school with submissions that could be included in the commemorative brochure – another project undertaken at Marburg Primary to celebrate the jubilee. Similarly, parents, well-wishers and business owners are urged to contact the school to place adverts in the brochure.

Staff, pupils and the SGB are extremely excited about the celebrations and the school invites everyone to join in. The school thanks everyone who has already made donations, committed to sponsorships or assisted in any way towards ensuring the success of this celebration. The school can be contacted at 039 6855117.
