IT WAS a cold end to the sports event held at Suid-Natal Primary’s winter sports day last Saturday. Despite the cold weather, Port Edward Primary’s team showed a lot of warmth in their spirit and fight against other schools. Some games were lost and some drawn, but there were more wins than losses. Thank you to Suid–Natal Primary for such a wonderful, successful event, which was enjoyed by everyone.
The grade 1 and 2 hockey girls and soccer boys attended a mini-sports day held at Creston College last Wednesday and the PEPS senior hockey boys won their match 3-0. The U11 and U13 rugby teams played against Izotsha last Wednesday and Thursday and both teams played extremely well.
Gr R pupils enjoyed a fun outing to the SPCA last Thursday and learnt a lot about what the SPCA does and how they can look after their own pets and animals properly. Pupils also collected some pet food to donate to the SPCA.
