LAST week was a very significant week for Creston College with the historic opening of the new facility for Wonderland school, which first opened its doors to children with learning and physical challenges in the year 2001.
The original premises was a Wendy house structure that served Wonderland up to the present day. A partnership with General Motors’ (SA) Childlife project ensured funding to build new premises for Wonderland, which was opened with much fanfare last Friday morning. Creston College is grateful to Bates of Port Shepstone for facilitating this project.
The school was also busy from a sports perspective last week, culminating in a hectic Saturday morning with Creston Senior Primary pupils taking part in the Suid-Natal Primary winter sports day and College Phase hosting Ixopo High at Creston. Sport was intense and enjoyable and crowd support was excellent for all teams.
