SHEPPIE High proudly promoted the national ‘Tekkie tax’ drive last week, in support of various charities that desperately need financial support. Pupils and staff chose a category to support what was most dear to their hearts, which included animals, basic family care, children, disability and education.
Stickers were on sale at the school for R10 and brightly coloured shoelaces were on sale for R30. In addition, 70 Sheppie High pupils sold stickers outside of school hours, as part of their community service. Sheppie High raised a whopping R17 000 for donation to the South Coast Hospice and other worthy causes.
