Hibberdene Academy explores careers

Matrics will be writing prelim exams from Monday, August 3.

WELCOME back to Hibberdene Academy’s gr 9, 10 and 11 pupils who spent last week job shadowing at their organisation of choice.

The school thanks all companies which afforded pupils the opportunity of working with them. The experience is aimed at allowing pupils to spend time with professionals and explore careers that they are interested in.

Job shadowing assists pupils in making the important decision of which career path they wish to follow after completing matric. It further helps the gr 9 pupils choose subjects for the next year.

The foundation phase held a successful cake sale last Friday to raise money to purchase reading books. This fund-raising effort will continue every Friday during the third term.

Matrics will be writing prelim exams from Monday, August 3. The school trusts pupils have prepared adequately and wishes them good luck.
