SOUTHCITY celebrated the game of soccer last Saturday.
The U14A college girls played PSHS and won 1-0, the U14B lost 0-1, the U16 team lost 1-2 and the first team lost 0-5. The U13 girls drew 0-0 with PEPS and the U13 boys won 3-1. The first team played in the Top Schools Tournament hosted at the school and the Southcity boys lost to Adams College and drew 1-1 with Crawford North Coast. Southcity pupils all attended and cheered for Port Shepstone High and Olwandle because local schools stick together!
Southcity Preparatory put on a fantastic show called ‘The king’s return: A lion’s tale….’, based on the story of The Lion King. Three performances were held, one for neighbouring schools, one gala evening and one final performance. It was a marvellous production and a great deal of fun was had by all involved.
