JAI Hind Primary’s U13 boys’ volleyball team travelled to Durban last Friday to represent the Ugu district in the Top Schools Volleyball Tournament held on Saturday.
Players gained valuable experience and thoroughly enjoyed the outing, but unfortunately narrowly lost in the round robin stages.
The school took part in volleyball, soccer and netball at the Bread of Heaven fun day held last Saturday. Pupils displayed their talents at a talent show and Sinothile Sengane (gr 1C) placed second in the ‘Feed a child, feed a nation’ themed Bread of Heaven art competition.
Pupils at Jai Hind are always encouraged to protect and care for the environment and supported the recent Coo-ee ‘collect a cap’ campaign. They collected bottle caps to be recycled by Coo-ee and were rewarded with various incentives for their efforts.
