MARGATE Primary’s gr R pupils were extremely fortunate to receive a new jungle gym, which assists in developing motor skills while swinging, balancing and climbing.
After enjoying the apparatus, pupils were eager to explore and investigate, and although hesitant at first, they soon got into the swing of things and really enjoyed discovering all the different activities the jungle gym could be used for.
Some chess sets were recently donated to the school and playing space was set up in the library for interested pupils. Break-time has become a hive of activity as players improve their skills in this complex game.
The school hopes to be in a position to play against other schools in the near future.
