SPRING is here and Port Edward Primary celebrated in style with a beautiful spring hat parade. Pupils made their own hats and the best were rewarded. Pupils represented the school at the Lower South Coast Athletics Championships held at Southcity last week, which was a wonderful event enjoyed by all.
The U13 girls played very well in the KZN trials last Saturday and displayed their shining Port Edward spirit. Choir members and grades 4 to 7 pupils have been rehearsing for a production called ‘Magical Musicals’, which will be staged on Wednesday, September 30 and Thursday, October 1.
The show will feature song and dance routines from popular musicals such as Oliver, Annie and Mama Mia. Both shows start at 6pm and tickets are available from the school office at R20 each. Meal tickets are also available, so bring family and friends along for an entertaining evening.
