AFTER weeks of planning and preparation, South Coast Academy’s grades 6 and 7 pupils awaited market day with great anticipation. The air was filled with delicious flavours of braai meat, home-made cup cakes, popcorn and many more treats. Teachers Ruark van der Walt and Caro Cadle helped a great deal with the preparation and contributed to a very successful day.
The highlight of the day was most definitely the opportunity to throw eggs at teacher Ruark van der Walt, who bravely accepted the challenge. By the end of the day there were no eggs left, a lot of egg shells and one smelly, slightly bruised teacher walking around.
