IZOTSHA Primary is extremely proud of five of its U13A cricket players who were selected to play for the Southern KwaZulu-Natal cricket team.
They were capped and their kit was handed over at a formal ceremony at Port Shepstone Country Club on Thursday. The team, captained by Chase Britz, played in the KZN Coastal trials in Durban at the weekend.
The senior soccer boys played against Southcity. The U13A boys won 5-2 with Kaleb Thomas scoring three goals, Fynn Weber one and Chase Britz one.
The U12A team drew 1-1 with Josh Parry scoring the goal.
The grade 7 pupils are looking forward to their excursion to Sweetdale from Monday to Wednesday.
