JAI Hind gr 7 pupils held a careers day during the last week of the third term and pupils were allowed to come to school dressed in a corresponding outfit. Guest speakers delivered informative and helpful talks and pupils were well informed on career choices. The school sincerely thanks all guest speakers for their time.
A recent gr 7 technology lesson turned into an exciting food lesson, when pupils were tasked with preparing a plate of food. Delicious smells wafted through the entire school making many tummies rumble.
Foundation phase pupils were enthralled by Heather Tomlinson and her puppet show called ‘Around the baobab tree’. They learnt all about water and the need to conserve this precious resource. The bright and cheerful puppets made the lesson exciting and gave many pupils an opportunity to try out the hand puppets and become one of the animal ‘stars’ in the show.
