HIBBERDENE Academy announced its new leaders before saying goodbye to matric pupils after the final assembly last Wednesday. Gr 12 pupils leave with mixed emotions for their study leave. The school trusts that matriculants will use the time afforded them efficiently as they prepare for exams starting on October 27th. Pupils are wished the best of luck for the exams but, to paraphrase Gary Player’s famous words ‘The more you practise, the luckier you get’, the academy says ‘The more you study, the luckier you get!’
Grade 12 pupils happily handed over leadership duties to grades 10 and 11 pupils who will assume their roles until the end of the term. This is still on a trial basis and means that other pupils can still be chosen as a leader next year.
Grades 7 to 11 invite everyone to join them on November 7th for an ‘Entrepreneur day’, which promises to be exciting.
