RA ENGAR recently took part in the Co-ee ‘Collect-a-cap’ campaign. A total of almost 20 000 caps were collected and pupils received stationery packs, water bottles and cooler bags as prizes and the school won a projector. RA Engar was further awarded a cash prize of R2 000 for having collected the highest number of caps in the Port Shepstone area.
As part of the gr 7 life orientation syllabus, pupils took part in a ‘Career day’ last Friday and dressed up in the attire of their career choice. As gr 7 pupils prepare for high school, it is important to think about possible future career choices.
Former pupil Precious Moseya was invited to give an inspiring motivational talk on the importance of education and also advised pupils on the best way to go about selecting careers. Precious is an alma mater of the school, who generously offered to sponsor one pupil’s school fees. The school thanks Precious for taking time off to visit and for her generous sponsorship.
