THEMBA Club is an orphanage for abused and street children and as a school, Southcity has been assisting Themba Club with food provisions to eliminate the need for pupil placement into other homes before finishing their school year. Last Friday, the Southcity Preparatory Eco Club got their hands dirty collecting rubbish. Members enjoyed splitting into groups to see who could collect the most garbage. This proves that even mundane tasks can be fun while providing a safer environment for both people and animals. The day was a huge success as pupils left the campus litter-free. A huge thank you goes out to the school’s ‘Anti-Litterbugs’.
