Izotsha Primary grooms marketers

There was a wide variety of businesses for pupils to choose where to spend their money.

IZOTSHA Primary played cricket matches against Suid-Natal Primary last week and the U11A team won by 10 wickets. Kellie Ashington took three wickets and Reece Murray scored 37 runs. The U11B team won by seven wickets and Ethan Pollock was named ‘man of the match’. The U13A team won by six wickets with Chad Laycock scoring 32 runs and Gary Massey 27. The U13B team won by nine wickets and Marko Thom was ‘man of the match’.

Last Wednesday, the school hosted a parents’ information evening regarding the upcoming exams and Friday was exceptionally busy with gr 7 pupils hosting

their annual market day. Much money was spent and good trading took place with 34 ‘businesses’ taking part. Many financial and business skills were acquired.

The school hosted an annual spring walk last Friday evening with the theme ‘Green and Gold’ in support of the Springboks.
