PORT Shepstone Islamic School’s hall was packed to capacity last Friday evening with an audience of 450 parents and well-wishers who were entertained by foundation phase pupils at the school’s Jalsa. A range of items, plays, recitals and songs rendered by ‘little performers’ against a colourful backdrop of an enchanted garden wooed the audience. This event showcased the talents of the foundation phase pupils under the tutelage of dedicated teachers.
Pupils were presented with certificates and gifts for outstanding performances and the exciting evening was rounded off with ice cream served to guests and pupils. The event was a resounding success.
