JAI HIND Primary’s gr R pupils showcased their annual concert and graduation in Port Shepstone Secondary’s school hall last Saturday. Principal Jeff Dundraj welcomed parents and guests, saying he looked forward to a supportive, cooperative relationship with parents to develop a firm foundation for young pupils. Guiathree Bridglall is congratulated for a well-organised event.
Leaders for 2016 were introduced at a special assembly. Teachers used a list of criteria and pupils were scored accordingly. A total of 51 leaders will be mentored by teachers Sally Kavanagh and Thembisile Madlala during their initial probation period and will also attend a leadership course early next year.
Gr 2 pupils constructed 2D and 3D shapes as part of a maths project and were scored according to shape recognition, effort, neatness and labelling. Senior primary pupils are revising for final examinations which run from November 12 to 20. The school wishes everyone a happy and safe Diwali celebration.
