DISKONTO Books visited Merlewood Primary for the first time last week and pupils were pleasantly surprised by the huge display of books. Many took the opportunity to purchase books on offer and appreciation is extended to parents for their support.
It is with great concern that the school has noted an increase in the number of motor vehicle accidents on the roads recently. During last week, a few Merlewood Primary pupils were involved in two separate accidents, one of which resulted in the death of a parent. Condolences are extended to the family. An appeal is made to parents to ensure that they secure reliable transport for pupils.
