MARGATE Primary gr R pupils have been busy preparing for their year-end concert scheduled for December 7. They are also learning the importance of ‘block play’, which teaches cooperation and sharing while working together with the blocks. Many other skills are also developed such as language, reading and writing and science and maths. Blocks are timeless and provide endless opportunities for the development of perceptual motor skills.
At last exams are over and things can get back to normal. This is a very important time for pupils to consolidate what they have learnt and resolve any problems encountered during the year. This means a fresh and successful start to 2016. Parents are reminded not to forget the AGM at 5.30pm this evening.
