Bogus cops kidnap, murder man

BOGUS ‘policemen’ are believed to have kidnapped and executed a 49-year-old Izingolweni man.

Police spokesman Captain Gerald Mfeka said three men wearing reflector jackets and claiming to be policemen entered Maqhinga Nzama’s house in Kwanyuswa at about 9pm last Thursday.

“The armed men kept on saying that they were policemen and demanded Mr Nzama’s son point out his father. They then left with Mr Nzama.

“The alarm was raised and a search was conducted. About 5am the next day, his body was found at KwaKuseni ward in Bashaweni, near Harding,” said Capt Mfeka.

He had been shot five times in the back.
