A second-hand pair of jeans, turned inside-out – and the outside of a side-pocket, photographed at an angle, to make that diagonal message visible.
I read the printed care instructions carefully. They were well put together: Wearing your jeans 10 times before washing reduces water usage.
Turn your jeans inside-out to reduce fade. Cold water wash with mild detergent. Hang dry inside-out in shade. Store folded or hung. Mom would cheer.
And I read this a few times: As an alternative, place your jeans into a plastic bag and freeze in freezer.
Why? What on earth has this to do with the care of jeans? How would freezing help? I even thought of help from Google.
Oh damn! A light came on. Brilliantly.
Maintain what you own. Or freeze it. Brilliant advice – for more than just jeans! Kudos to RJ.
I imagine someone there saying, “That guy who writes for the Fever? Gotcha, Uncle Jay!”
