LAST Friday, Hibberdene Academy held its second ‘Song of Praise’ Christmas service at the Methodist Church. The school thanks the church for the use of its beautiful venue. Pupils sang like angels and filled the audience’s hearts with love and joy. Thanks to community members and parents who took the time to support the children. Thanks are extended to all staff members who worked tirelessly to practise songs and prepare the venue.
The academy strives to teach pupils that there are many children who do not have much and that they should give to the needy. Proudly, the school has filled 63 shoeboxes for the Santa Shoebox Project this year. The final assembly and prize-giving starts at 8.30 for 9am tomorrow (December 4) and school will close for the year at 11am. Parents and friends are welcome to attend this assembly.
