PORT Shepstone High’s matric pupils wrote their final exams last week and are wished the very best in all future endeavours. Seventy-four pupils qualified for the final round of the FEMSSISA mathematics Olympiad. In the final round, 28 pupils achieved bronze certificates and five achieved silver certificates. Of the pupils who took part, Shruthi Thomas and Ross Kiggen were placed second and third in the gr 8 category, Jennifer Gillespie was placed first in the gr 10 category and Asavela Njonga and Sadiyah Wahab were placed third and fourth respectively in the gr 11 category.
