Izotsha Primary bids farewell

The school is extremely proud of Chase Britz who won the finals of the Spar Superstar challenge.

IZOTSHA Primary gr R pupils held their annual nativity play last Friday, followed by a prize-giving ceremony. Many other classes held class or grade parties throughout the week.

The year-end staff function held at The Umthunzi Boutique Hotel saw farewells being said to four staff members. Gr 3 class teacher and foundation phase HOD Cathy Dickson (teacher at the school for 14 years) and financial secretary Louise Bouwer will both be retiring. Remedial reading therapist Mary-Anne Reynolds is taking a sabbatical to complete a book she is currently writing and front office secretary Emilene Young is relocating.

Final prize-giving ceremonies were held for foundation, intermediate and senior phases on Tuesday. The school wishes all gr 7 pupils well in their high school careers and all families are wished a happy and blessed Christmas holiday. The school is extremely proud of Chase Britz who won the finals of the Spar Superstar challenge.
