SOUTHCITY Preparatory held its annual prize-giving last Wednesday. Tangible excitement filled the air and a lovely atmosphere prevailed throughout. It was an honour to have college principal Wendy Lourens handing out prizes. Congratulations must go to Sarah-Joy Pringle for being named dux of the school and sportswoman of the year. Rebecca Nero was awarded dux proximé and Gareth Pieterse came third in gr 7 and was named sportsman of the year. Well done to all prize-winners. Pre-primary pupils did an outstanding job telling the real meaning of Christmas at their nativity play last Tuesday.
