INVESTIGATIONS are under way after a man apparently shot his wife before turning the gun on himself.
Police spokesman, Captain Gerald Mfeka said police received a report of a murder at St Michael’s last Saturday at about 9.30pm.
“When police arrived at the house in Fairway Drive, they found the woman (69) lying on a sofa with a gunshot wound to the head. Next to the woman was a 74-year-old man who had a gunshot wound under the chin,” said Captain Mfeka.
The identity of the couple has not been released.
