Hibiscus Choir needs a conductor

Rehearsals are due to start early next month.

HIBISCUS Choir looks forward to a musical new year, hopefully with a new conductor and musical director at its head.

If you would be able to take over the choir’s illustrious baton, members would love to hear from you.

All the choir members are getting ready to start rehearsals again, in the revamped bowling club building at the Margate Retirement Village on Tuesday, February 2, from 5pm until 6.30pm. New members, particularly altos, tenors and basses, are assured of a warm welcome.

The choir stages two blocks of five concerts at various South Coast venues twice a year. Proceeds from ticket sales, raffles and other fund-raising efforts are used to help local high school pupils who have been selected for the KZN Youth Choir.
