A WOMAN was robbed at her house in Bradfield Road, Woodgrange near Hibberdene in the early hours of this morning.
This is the third such incident in five days.
The 36-year-old woman was asleep in her home when she woke up at about 2am. “She noticed five men in her room with torches and knives,” said police spokesman, Lieutenant-Colonel Zandra Wiid.
The men threatened her and then started searching her house. They fled taking the woman’s blue GWM sedan, with the registration number NP 166760, as well as household appliances, cellphones and a television. The woman was not hurt
The robbers gained entry by removing putty from a window frame.
No arrests have yet been made.
Last Saturday a family was held at knifepoint at their home in Canterbury Drive, and on same day, a 59-year-old man living in Aubrey Road was attacked. His white Mahindra bakkie was missing along with some other items from his house. No arrests were made in these cases.
