A MAN accused of murdering his girlfriend by slitting her throat appeared in the Dududu Periodical District Court today.
Thobani Buhleni Ngidi (22) was arrested after allegedly killing Nomthandazo Pearl Mpanza (24) in Mgangeni Ward, Sawoti, according to a statement released by Scottburgh SAPS communications officer, Captain Vincent Pandarum.
It is thought a quarrel over Mpanza’s decision to abort their baby ended in Ngidi slitting her throat with a knife. He then handed himself over to police.
Sawoti SAPS recovered a knife at Ngidi’s uncle’s house where the murder had been committed.
