AUTHOR John Haupt, a popular and well-established South Coast businessman, looks forward to launching his latest literary offering at Ramsgate Stationers this Saturday, February 20, at 9.30am.
John’s new book, ‘The Late Great South Africa’ is a departure from his previous ones, of which there are about 20 000 copies in circulation. They have been Christian works. Now John has turned to political issues, a radical change for him.
He points out that 21 years have passed since our transition to a fully representative democracy and that this means the new South Africa has come of age. It is, he feels, a good time to evaluate its progress. The title he chose for the book says something about what it is all about.
