Ugu’s poor patch jobs

The job is not complete until the dug-up area is properly reinstated.

MOTORISTS are warned to watch-out for poor patch jobs following water leak repairs along coastal roads.

This week these poor patch jobs were bought to Ugu District Municipality’s attention.

In response, Ugu spokesman France Zama, said a panel of external service providers are responsible for the road re-instatement services after pipe repairs are completed.

“These jobs have been allocated to the road re-instatement team and shall be completed by the end of this week,” he said.

He added the municipality apologised for any inconvenience caused.
