THE annual interhouse swimming gala added even more fun to Port Edward Primary. Champion swimmers were Matthew Michau and Cassia Burger (U9), Brayden Jardim and Chloe Barclay (U10), Keegan Fourie and Scarlet Scorer (U11), Matthew Bircher and Brittney van Vuuren (U12), James de Villiers and Ruby van der Merwe (open).
Scarlet Scorer was junior victrix ludorum and Keegan Fourie and Brayden Jardim shared the junior victor award. Ruby van der Merwe was senior victrix and James de Villiers senior victor.
Marlin house won the cup. Three swimmers took part in the BOA Junior Splash Series last Sunday. Scarlet Scorer broke a record in the 25m butterfly event and received numerous first and second places.
Olivia Burger took second and third places and Freya Scorer did extremely well. Congratulations to Duncan Simpson and Minhaas Ayoub, who made the SKZN U11 cricket team.
