CRESTON College hosted an extremely well attended JP mini-cricket tournament last Thursday afternoon. Muhammed Yaseen Paraze and Nabil Beija (gr 1), Khuselihle Khusi (gr 2), and Troye Allchin (gr 3) were all nominated ‘Man of the match’. Cricketer Joseph Currie has been selected for the Southern KwaZulu-Natal U11 invitation team, and Diza Qhayiya for the U19 team.
Several swimmers competed in the Level 1 Championship gala held at Kings Park, Durban and many outstanding achievements were recorded. Congratulations to Jehryn Moonsamy for winning a bronze medal for free-style fighting in the KZN Regional Karate Championships. Jehryn will now represent KZN in the National Championships on March 18.
The marketing team has been very busy promoting scholarship exams which will take place in the school hall today (3rd) at 2pm. All grade 7 pupils are encouraged to write this worthwhile exam.
