ONE of Port Shepstone Junior Primary’s two major annual fund-raisers, namely the swimathon, was held last week. Dressed in swimming gear, pupils were very excited to see how many lengths of the pool they could swim. A huge thank you to parents, pupils and families for their generosity – the school managed to reach the R40 000 mark!
PSJP hosted six schools at a hockey tournament last week and all teams seemed to be well matched. Referees were all much more confident after attending the workshop held at school last week, initiated and conducted by head of sport, Emma van Vuuren.
Past teacher Shirley Bishop, who now lives in Spain with her husband Tony, popped in to say hello whilst enjoying a brief holiday on the South Coast.
