PSSP bade farewell to Rose Wilson, who officially retired at the end of February after serving for 43 years (35 of those at PSSP). She was a member of the school management team and head of gr 6. Welcome to new teacher Tsireletso Tsoaeli, who will assist in the library and with performance arts.
Congratulations to Cade Woodenberg and Lemard Pillay on excellent performances at the KZN schools’ athletics championship in Chatsworth last weekend. Cade placed second in the U11 100m event, while Lemard took gold in the U13 long jump, and silver in the U13 100m event.
Volleyball teams performed well at the volleyball tournament held at the Marburg Sports Complex last Saturday. Both the U12 and U14 teams reached the semi-finals. Both teams are commended on their excellent effort and sportsmanship.
Hockey teams learnt valuable skills at the fun-filled Sportz Kidz 5-a-side tournament at Creston College last Saturday.
