MARGATE Primary’s annual interhouse gala was held last Friday and the nail-biting relay races had parents more excited than swimmers.
Junior victrix and victor ludorums were Tayler Taljaard and Vuyo Mafunda and the best U12 girl swimmer ended up being a tie between Tumi Parkies and Innocentia Ncama.
Damien Crow was selected best U12 boy and the senior victrix and victor ludorum awards went to Chanelle Somerville and Dune Jansen van Vuuren.
Mitchell house was overall winner and also won the relay trophy, with Reid in second place and Hammond coming third.
All staff, pupils and parents are wished a safe, enjoyable holiday and a blessed Easter.
