Two injured in Merlewood crash

TWO people sustained injuries in a motor vehicle crash at the Merlewood traffic lights this morning (Friday).

According to Belinda Catchpole, spokesman for Kwazulu Private Ambulance, emergency services were called to the scene at about 8am.

“Two vehicles were involved in the collision, a bakkie and a car. The car came to a standstill after smashing into the barrier,” she said.

Both patients were stabilised at the scene and transported to hospital for further treatment.
