THE chilly start to the second school term did not deter Port Edward Primary pupils George Tripepi, Kungawo Dondolo, Matthew Bircher and Lihle Mhatu from playing their hearts out and making it through to the Lower South Coast rugby team. Brittney van Vuuren and Scarlet Scorer also excelled and made it through to the Ugu District swimming team, and Devanarayanan Anilkumar made the top-end cricket team for Southern Natal. Rayne Mendez, Ezme Munsamy, Liyema Maboza and Bulela Ncanywa have qualified for the next round of Southern Natal. The school is extremely proud of all their achievements.
Gr 7 pupils held a successful entrepreneur’s day last Friday, selling many different items to other pupils and having lots of fun.
