Eight Izotsha players get selected

Tyler Hogan won a bronze medal at the recent South African national trials karate championship held in Durban.

IZOTSHA Primary is extremely proud that all eight of the boys who attended the SKZN rugby trials have been selected for Southern KwaZulu-Natal teams. They will be representing SKZN at the KwaZulu-Natal trials.

Tyler Hogan represented KZN karate at the South African national trials championship held in Durban. He took part in the brown/black belt division and was rewarded with a bronze medal in the kata division.

Bob Engelbrecht and Guy Henderson took part in a ‘Regional Harescramble’ held in Jolivet. Bob came second in the junior Clubman 85cc series and Guy came third in the 65cc class. It is wonderful that so many Izotsha Primary pupils achieve both in and out of school. Construction on the new gr R classrooms is under way and progressing well.
