Jai Hind prepares for a busy term

JAI Hind Primary’s second term got off to an extremely busy start. A fruitful and interactive parent meeting was held last Wednesday and it was well attended by parents who received valuable information about their child’s progress. The school welcomes Ashleigh Naidoo as the new administration clerk and wishes her a long and happy stay at the school.

Senior primary pupils were addressed at a special assembly by Shubha Vilas from the ISKON (Food for Life) organisation. His motivational talk was based on universal values and morals. Pupils gained valuable insight about values and morals, which is so necessary in today’s modern fast moving, materialistic world. After the talk, the entire school was treated to a delicious hot vegetarian meal.

Teachers Jackie van der Merwe, Sudeshnie Govender, Nosipho Cele and Regina Haripersadh attended an exciting netball coaching clinic in Durban last weekend. Netball training has commenced and interclass matches have been scheduled.
