CONGRATULATIONS to Creston College pupils Paige Pretorius (U16) and 2015 deputy head girl Amber Pretorius (U21) for being selected for the SA Junior Polocrosse Team that will tour Australia in July.
Well done to Bermatt Viljoen, Ava-Mae Liljie, Tannah Caldwell, Kayla Heydricks, Demi Orsmond, Samantha Labuschagne, Emma Kuhn and Olivia Hulley who were awarded their Ugu colours for swimming.
Senior Primary pupils celebrated Earth Day last Friday and arrived with packets of soup for donation, thereby giving back by taking care of less fortunate people. The soup will be most appreciated, especially during winter months.
Gr 0 pupils went on an adventure to ‘Grannies Pool’ in Southbroom last Wednesday and were delighted when a pod of dolphins swam by. They were then treated to an ice lolly after a sandcastle competition.
The Interact Club held a very successful ‘Pay-It Forward Friday’, collecting children’s books for Rotary to distribute to orphanages and mobile libraries.
