MERLEWOOD Primary gr 6 and 7 pupils were delighted when ‘Word Riders’ distributed Bibles at school last week. The organisation comprises a group of businessmen from all over the country, who minister and hand out Bibles to school pupils.
The school celebrated World Book Day last week and teachers ensured that all pupils read at least one story in honour of this special day, using Nal’ibali resources. Nal’ibali is a unique campaign that promotes reading for enjoyment.
Level 1 teachers were happy to host new circuit manager Rajan Naidoo, who was inspirational and helped motivate teachers to achieve new heights in the academics of pupils.
