SOUTHCITY Christian College’s first team boys’ and girls’ hockey, netball and rugby played at Durban North College last Saturday and did extremely well by winning all their games. The first rugby team won 47-7. The U15 rugby team lost, the U14 hockey boys won, both the U14 and U16 netball teams lost their matches, but the girls’ hockey mixed team won their game impressively with a final score of 10-0.
Pre-primary pupils were so excited when they arrived at school last Tuesday to find a wooden zebra and horse in the playground. They had loads of fun riding on them.
Last Friday, the entire pre-primary school went on an outing to Pure Venom where they had an exciting morning holding snakes and learning all about reptiles. A big thank you to Pure Venom, especially to Sarel van der Merwe for the wonderful, informative demonstration.
