Take note: You may have no water tomorrow

Be prepared, just in case!

PARTS of the South Coast will be without water tomorrow (Tuesday, May 31)  from 7am to 7pm.

This is according to a statement released by Ugu, which adds that the supply shutdown is due to maintenance work being conducted on the Bhobhoyi Water Works and the supply line feeding the water works.

Areas affected could include Gamalakhe, Murchison, Nyandezulu, Msikaba, Shelly Beach, Margate and Uvongo as well as the area between Hibberdene and Ramsgate.

Consumers are urged to store enough water prior to the planned shutdowns and use water sparingly.

Water tankers will be dispatched.

For more information contact Ugu’s  Customer Call Centre on 08000 92837 or 039 688 5830/36 or SMS 44751.
