CRESTON Junior Primary hosted two tournaments for hockey and soccer players. There was a wonderful response from local schools with a combined total of 490 players last Saturday and on Tuesday this week. The weather was perfect and Creston teams made the school very proud by showing their best playing tactics and good sportsmanship. Gr 3 hockey girls came out tops by winning all their games. Many thanks to parents who supported players on both days. Thanks to Adele Peterson and Antoinette Arde and all moms who supplied cakes and helped at the hospitality table.
Creston College is excited to be part of the annual Soapbox Festival of Speed, in association with Rotary Port Shepstone and Thompson Nissan. Start building a soapbox cart and join in the fun to support this charity event at Dezzi Raceway on Sunday, June 24 at 9am.
